Planet

It's a planet when it can hold an atmosphere, or something. Otherwise it's a dwarf planet.

Interestingly, the people that decided Pluto's not a planet also decided that any body outside the solar system isn't a planet either, but an exoplanet. So there are 8 planets total in existence. But these people were not astronomers, so there may be a new standard down the line.
